One thing I must insist on is that you enjoy cooking. Not just eating. Cooking. I want us to prepare meals together on weekends. Chopping onions, frying chapatis, seasoning stews, and tasting everything along the way. The kitchen is where I bond best.
You should be comfortable doing chores without being asked. A man who sees a dirty plate and washes it without waiting for instructions is a man I want to keep.
